Join us in celebrating Black History Month, dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the substantial contributions of African Americans throughout U.S. history. This event honors the legacy of Black individuals, from those who endured hardship since the early 17th century to those who continue to enrich the United States today.

This special event not only commemorates the past but also supports the future through a fundraising initiative for GKFolks Foundation’s Mental Health and Entrepreneurship Programs, as well as the Afro Utah Festival.
We will also feature the compelling story of an African Immigrant’s decades long journey towards American citizenship, showcasing how the remarkable contributions of African Americans throughout history continue to shape the opportunities and success of all people of African descent pursuing the American dream today.
